Executives are most successful when they are able to partner with their boss in achieving organizational goals. This workshop will enable you to maintain a "win-win" relationship with your boss. Your will learn how to proactively establish trust and respect in the relationship, adjust to differing working styles, and maintain open communication.

Program Objectives:

In this workshop we will explore how to take advantage of your first and most important professional relationship, your boss. By learning about certain workplace realities, you can better understand how your boss communicates, what he/she expects from you, and how you can learn from him/her. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

Discuss the steps to a successful relationship with your boss
Recognize whether a work boundary issue is affecting your ability to be proactive
Identify key differences between your primary communication style and your boss's
Address communication problem areas between you and your boss
Maintain clear and realistic expectations
Describe the main challenges or barriers to maintaining a good working relationship
Take action to keep a good relationship intact.
