Many people in organizations must rely on influence, negotiation and persuasion skills, rather than authority, to get things done.   You probably work with people who don't report to you, yet who affect your success in important ways. How do you influence them to cooperate with you? That, in a nutshell, is a classic influencing opportunity

Program Objectives:

By attending this workshop, participants will develop the skills and confidence to influence others in a way that is effective, non-confrontational and assists in building positive future relationships. You will:

  • Distinguish between influence and power as a way to get things done.
  • Recognize different influencing styles and when to use them for maximum effect
  • Plan and prepare a strategy for achieving a win/win outcome by taking into account other peoples objectives, their strengths and weaknesses
  • Become more influential and improve strategy selection
  • Increase awareness of different styles of communication
  • Understand how the process of persuasion works
  • Plan your communication and develop an influence strategy
  • Listen and respond to others more openly.
  • Become a more effective team leader/player
  • Successfully use influencing and persuading skills in the workplace

Recommended Participants:

Anyone who has to achieve their own goals and objectives through the support, cooperation and efforts of others as well as themselves, those who have to motivate and be motivated and those that need support in order to achieve progress. This is a workshop essential to every Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager.
